About this report
The purpose of this social impact report is to promote the positive impact Salix Homes has on communities, residents and their homes.
Salix Homes is not just about providing good quality affordable homes, it’s about transforming lives and supporting our communities to live, grow and thrive together.
As well as supporting our residents and communities, we believe the delivery of social value is a valuable part of our business activity. Whilst not all benefits are immediately tangible, they can make a significant contribution to our impact on the communities in which we work.
We want our communities to talk about the difference we make and this report highlights some of the successes in 2019-20 as well as showing the impact we have made.
The highlights include case studies and news stories in areas such as housing, communities, employment, supporting the local economy, financial support and the environment.
