COLLEAGUES

The people that work here make things happen and the commitment, local knowledge and expertise of our employees make us the organisation that we are.

In 2019-20 all colleagues across the organisation completed a brand-new training programme called ‘The Difference You Make’ that captured the difference each person makes to our customers, colleagues and communities. A new leadership management training programme was also launched for all managers within the company.

Our employee recognition software Workstars saw colleagues give more than 1646 recognitions that celebrates and shares the fantastic work that they do. We have also continued our commitment to being a living wage employer.

ARE WE ON TRACK?

By 2020 we will have employees who feel empowered, trusted, recognised and equipped. But how will we know when we’ve achieved it? Here’s how we’re getting on:

Creating a modern employee offer

This year we took a big step forward in modernising our employee offer. This included transforming our workspaces in to modern, flexible places of work, ensuring whether colleagues are working in our communities, in the office or at home, they have the best tools for the job.
