COMMUNITIES

2019-20 saw us complete one of our major promises when we became an independent Housing Association, with all our homes now improved and meeting the Decent Homes standard.

More than 88 local groups and projects received a much-needed cash boost through our Springboard fund during 2018-19 with £41,342 invested into the community.

Positive environmental impact

We have launched a new scheme to recycle unwanted furniture that has been donated or left behind when tenants move out and given to residents who need it most. The scheme has kept hundreds of items out of landfill or being dumped onto Salford’s streets.
